Fair terms for a small tool.

By using Caption Cues, you agree to these terms.

What the product does

Caption Cues changes the presentation of captions already available to you through a webpage or browser text track. It does not generate captions, download video, bypass DRM, diagnose hearing loss, or promise compatibility with every player.

Supporter purchase

Supporter edition is a one-time $9 purchase that unlocks the cosmetic Cobalt caption theme and supports maintenance. All caption comprehension tools remain free. Sociobot, with Dodo as merchant of record, handles payment and refunds. Approved refunds revoke the corresponding license. Do not share or resell license tokens.

Acceptable use

Use the extension only with content and caption tracks you are authorized to access. Do not use it to circumvent technical restrictions or violate the rights of others.

Availability and warranty

The software is provided “as is,” without warranties. Caption behavior varies across sites, and sites may change. To the extent allowed by law, Sociobot is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the software.
